Booking Info

  • A qualified camera operator is required at an additional charge. We have several award-winning operators that we recommend who know both the technical and creative capabilities of the camera system.
  • We provide full insurance coverage for the Cineflex, record decks and other airborne equipment. If the system is leased, a standard insurance rider is required.
  • Safety first! We’ll help you determine the safest way to accomplish your project. Use our experience with different camera systems, helicopter weight & balance, wind conditions, fuel and passenger loads to optimize your flight plan.

Ground Support

  • Two Ford F-350 Super Duty 4x4 trucks equipped with 200 gallon mobile Jet Fuel Systems plus one 360 gallon stand alone Jet Fuel Refueling Trailer for remote location aircraft refueling.
  • Ground support trucks are equipped with GPS navigation and VHF air-to-ground communications.
  • Each aircraft is dispatched with a "Spares Kit" consisting of spare aircraft generators, relays, lighting, and other various critical parts.
  • Aircraft stand-alone GPU (ground power unit).
  • Mobile 110V AC Honda Generator and night lighting.
  • FAA Licensed Mechanics are available to be dispatched with each aircraft if desired by the client (additional cost).
  • ICom air-to-ground walkie-talkies are available at no extra charges to coordinate ground vehicles and crew as well as communications with the aircraft.

Helivision now owns a new state of the art Cineflex V14 HD (Gen3) gyro-stabilized camera system to film visually stunning high definition aerial footage. Micro-processor gyro sensors control powerful motors to remove even the slightest vibration creating rock solid HD video capture. Our Standard Package

Our aerial HD camera package includes the gyro-stabilized Cineflex System configured as follows:

  • The Sony CineAlta HDC 1500 camera allows video capture at both 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 at the most popular formats of 1080/60i, 1080/24p, and 720/60p.
  • Fujinon HA 42x9.7mm (Zoom Range of 9.7mm to 410mm)
  • Airfilm vibration isolation plate.
  • The camera system can be nose mounted on our aircraft for straight-on approach shots or side mounted for those circling oblique and tracking shots.
  • Panasonic 8.4" BT-LH900A LCD (with built-in waveform) camera operator monitor.
  • Panasonic pilot monitor to assist the camera operator and director with aircraft positioning to ensure the correct shot is captured.

  • Optional Panasonic 8.4" BT-LH900A LCD rear cabin mounted director's monitor.
  • On-board 12VDC, 24VDC auxilary power available through 3 and 4 pin XLR plugs to power various camera systems and gyros.
  • On-board 110V AC power.

  • HD microwave downlinks for live real-time video to a ground based receive site.
